A&P Mechanic

​

​​JOB PURPOSE

To accurately repair and perform scheduled maintenance on company and retail airplanes, as well as perform inspections as required by the FAA.

​

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not a comprehensive list)

  • Maintain company and retail aircraft

  •  Accurately complete all inspections, repairs, and component changes in accordance with manufacturer or FAA-approved procedures

  • Comply with all maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations

  • Keep Director of Maintenance updated on status of aircrafts and expected down times to facilitate scheduling

  • Maintain all necessary work records and logbooks

  • Comply with all company policies and manager directives regarding safety

  • Track parts used, time spent, and any other billable expense accurately for customer billing

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A&P License

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIROMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme weather conditions and tight spaces with awkward work postures. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. A&P Mechanics are required to lift objects up to 50 pounds in weight.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

There is very little travel required in this position. An A&P Mechanic may be called to complete off-site jobs, which, though rare, may require overnight stays away from home.

DISPATCHER

​

$17.30 - $24 an hour - FULL TIME

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure that all Castle Aviation pilots, passengers, aircraft, and customer cargo are transported safely, efficiently, profitably, and in a timely manner; to organize all flight logistics, including communications with all relevant federal and local entities that require it.

​

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with United States and Canadian customs via telephonic or paper exchange methods

  • Monitor current and forecast weather conditions to plan for and modify flights

  • Track and plan for aircraft positioning, whether at CAK, out-based, or in response to adverse conditions

  • Accurately quote flight costs for potential customers

  • Manage cargo/passenger load versus load balance and anticipate and resolve potential issues

  • Integrate various aspects of company-wide operations in a manner that is most efficient for time, profit, and minimal company expenses

  • Answer phone calls and professionally, quickly resolve any customer needs and/or questions

  • File all necessary customs and airport paperwork and adjust data details as needed

  • Move aircraft via tow vehicles to various positions in the company hangars or on the airfield

  • Communicate routes, work schedules, and all pertinent trip information with pilots before flights

  • Communicate with pilots via radio during flights as required

  • Coordinate rental cars, hotel stays, and any other trip details for traveling pilots

  • Pass on all pertinent shift information to subsequent shifts

  • Track all flights using BART and other flight software

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Customer service oriented

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in dispatching aircraft

  • Experience working with US and/or Canadian customs

  • Familiarity with Google and Microsoft products

LINE SERVICE TECHNICIAN 

​

Reports To: 

FBO Line Manager

​

 

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure that aircraft are prepared for charter operations by providing fuel, deicing, oil, hangar, and ramp services, to maintain company facilities, and to safely transport aircraft in and out of the hangar.  

​

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate fuel truck, tug, and other ground vehicles

  • Help maintain fuel farm/ FBO facilities and equipment

  • Support charter operations by performing various ground services for aircraft, pilots, and customers

  • Fuel aircraft

  • Deicing of aircraft

  • Position aircraft in hangar and on ramp via tug and wing walking

  • Perform required periodic inspections

  • Comply with all applicable company and OSHA safety standards

​

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 18 years or older

  • Have a high school diploma or GED

  • Have a valid state driver's license

  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and TSA background check

​

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The Line Service Technician will also be required to lift objects of up to 50 pounds in weight. The position could also entail working in awkward positions or confined spaces for extended periods of time.

$16.00-$18.00 depending on experience

Customer Service Representative - (CSR)​

FBO Manager and Director of Administration

​

JOB PURPOSE 

 
To create positive interactions with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing requested services efficiently and accurately. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Interact with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on company services 

  • Create positive customer experiences through thorough knowledge of services and professional attitude 

  • Collect and enter orders for services 

  • Respond to customer requests, questions, and complaints in a professional and timely manner  

  • Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns 

  • Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments. 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned  

 

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES 

  • Excellent communication skills including active listening 

  • Be service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances 

  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software 

  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of proficiency
